Submitting Form

Hi there,
I have my form set up to do a paypal redirect when ever the submit button is pressed, the form was working as it should and redirecting carring the correct values with it, but it has stopped working now. Now when the submit button is pressed the form just disappears shows the page heading and doesnt redirect to paypal, Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hi Hayes121,

Impossible to tell from here - I can only guess that something has changed on the site.

What changes have been made recently?

All i had done was add in a DB save and then when i went to test it it stopped working, I have even deleted the the old form and re created a new one but im still getting the same problem, it loads a screen as if the 'show html' action isnt being used

Hi Hayes121,

Is the Show HTML action still there? Might you have a PHP error from the DB Save setup?

I still have the show html function there yes, and i dont have an error because i amnt using any of the DB stuff at the moment, just trying to get the redirect to work again first

i thought the problem was in the submit button but i havnt changed any of the settings in it, and then i looked at the redirect action and that is all as it should be, is there any other factors that could effect the submitting?

I took two screen shot before and after pressing the submit button if that helps

Hi Hayes121,

Do you see anything useful if you add a Debugger action to the On Submit event?

I broke the form down and rebuilt it one text box at a time and it turn out the radion button was the thing that stopped it working, I dont know why this would make it stop working though?

Hi Hayes121,

Everything looks OK from the image of the front-end. What were the settings you used for the Radio Button?

I just had a simple one choice button that sent the parameter to paypal, but i dont know why it stopped working as it was working all well the day before. Could i use a hidden button to pass a pre set parameter to paypal?

Hi hayes121,

You can use a Hidden input to send a fixed value.

You can also the radio button field name you have used, maybe it was the source of the problem!

I guess you may have given it the name "event" ?
