Setup wont save

How to fix ChronoForms setup not saving.

Overview

The issue occurs when the form setup data disappears or the save button stops working, often due to browser or form length limitations.
Update to the latest CF version and adjust the safe save setting in the configuration to resolve the saving problem.

Hi,
I am trying to make a new form on my site but when try to save my "Setup" everything disappears (render and email). I have seen the issue with the submit button that should be renamed, but I have not inserted a submit button yet. It is purely textfields and a dropdown.
My old forms works just fine.

Update: Changing one of the old forms and saving this also deletes the "Setup" settings and the old form is also broken now.

I am using chronoforms v5 and encountered a problem whereby I was initially able to save the form, but as I added more fields and field information, the save button stopped working. When I clicked the button, nothing happened (same for save & close). I am using the Advanced form editing.

To solve the problem, I installed the latest version of chronoform v5, RC6.

FireFox 29.0.1 for Mac
Joomla 2.5.20
PHP 5.4.25

I changed the safe save value in the settings and everything worked fine.

The save button was working just fine after I updated to chronoforms V5, RC6, but I was making a longer form just now and again the save button stopped working... very frustrating.
