Chronoforms 5 load state problem

AdrianJLo 16 May, 2014
Hi,

I downloaded your excellent component a wile ago and so far I've been able to google my way through any problems. Now, however, I'm faced with an annoying problem that I can't seem to figure out by myself. I imagine that the solution could be ridiculously simple, but nevertheless.

I'm making a fairly straightforward form for new members to our organisation. There one route to membership that should be in three stages in the form. Type -> Amount -> if other, then other. Previously I have successfully been able to use the "parent hidden" function, but when i test the form now the field shows up anyway. I can make it go away if I select the options that would hide them and then get it back when I select the value that shows it.

The fact that everything is visible from the start makes the form very confusing.

I'm running J!3.3.0, Chronoforms5, I do not have spaces in field name og field ID.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Adrian

Hi AdrianJLo,

Hard to diagnose without seeing the from, it sounds like a JavaScript error or typo of some kind.

Answer
Just a thought, does your form name has any spaces or special characters ?

I had spaces and a hyphen. I guess the spaces were the culprit.
