Warning message in console

danryan75 15 May, 2014
Hi.

Is anyone able to advise me as to why I might be getting this error message?

Notice: Undefined index: actions_config in /home/sites/.............../public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/views/index.php on line 55 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/sites/............../public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/views/index.php on line 5

It appears having created a new simple form. I have recreated the form multiple times and get the same issue each time.

It contains a a number of text fields, a couple of dropdown fields, a captcha, a datepicker, and a submit.
My other form works fine. It contains text, captcha, dropdown, and a submit.

When I try to view the "Code" tab of the faulty form it displays this message.

Undefined index: DNA in /home/sites/.........../public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/views/edit.php on line 1209

Any help would be great.

versions of Chronoforms is 5.0 RC6, Mod is V5 RC1.2, Plugin is V 5.0 (but not enabled).

Many thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Did you change any settings under the "Settings" section in Chronoforms ?

Hi Max.

Safe Save is set to No, and Safe Loading count is 20. I did try reducing it at one point, due to a different issue (since resolved).

Thanks,

Dan

Ok, I think the problem you have is because of disabling the "Safe save", please enable it again, and let me know if you have other side effects!

Hi Max.

Just did as you suggested. No change I'm afraid.

I have the following Notice just beneath "Forms Manager" in the backend. Not sure if this helps.

Notice: Undefined index: actions_config in /home/sites/xxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/views/index.php on line 55 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/sites/xxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/views/index.php on line 55

Thanks,

Dan

Answer
Hi Dan,

This warning and the other error are a result of the broken forms which have been created with the safe save disabled, I suggest that you delete all the forms and start a new fresh one, in case you don't have any long forms there.

OR, if you have some important form(s) then you can try to open the form then save it once, check if this will fix the problem.

Max

Thanks Max. I'll recreate the form and let you know how it goes. Looks good so far though🙂

Hi Max.
Sorry about the delay in responding. I recreated the forms with "Safe Save" on. My forms are now working perfectly again. Many thanks. Dan

Hi Max,

yes safe save is enabled all the time.

i opened each form and saved it. only the new form generates the error message.

I just noticed the "Setup" is empty in my new test form.

I did the following :
1. create a form using "New". add some fields and save the form >>> tab Setup is empty >>> warning message appears
2. create a form using "New simple". add some fields and save the form >>> tab Setup has data >>>> no warning and form is loaded.

So something is going wrong when creating a form with the option "New"

I don't get any errors here when I save a form with only some fields but with empty setup.

Please send me a link to your website and login info using the "Contact us" page if possible!
