Possible to use Chronoforms to create auto login and redirect?

I was hoping ChronoForms5 could provide a solution to my problem. I have an off-site server that handles memberships for my client. When the user successfully logs in, it redirects back to a PHP script that before I migrated the site to 3.3 (from 1.7) successfully logged into Joomla as a registered user, giving the user access to all the registered access level articles in the site. I can't get it to work in Joomla 3.3 and it has become a real pain.

Is there a way using ChronoForms5 that I can create a script that when accessed logs the user into Joomla as registered level and then redirects to a page? Thanks.

Hi dryke_chris,

I imagine this is possible but it would all be custom code. Are the users also registered on Joomla! or do you use some 'universal' user to log them in?

All the users are on the separate server, none of them duplicated in Joomla. The old web site didn't even have a mock registered user and it worked and I have no clue how that was pulled off. I of course would have no problem instating a mock user if that gave a solution.

Hi,

I've no real idea how that might work - if you want to PM or email me the script I can take a look and see if I can work out how it works and what has changed. The Joomla! guys have made a lot of changes in recent releases and it may just be that you need to change a function name or something similar.
