Transparency Issues

Hi Bob,

I'm developing a new site using a RocketTheme template. The template has a fixed header feature that changes color when the user scrolls down the page. The color-change feature doesn't work on the page containing the Chronoform 5 (it works great on the rest of the site). On the page with the Chronoform the fixed header turns transparent upon scrolling. You can take a look at it here.

You have helped me in the past with Chronoforms and RocketTheme template display issues where all I have to do is drop a line of code and it all gets better :-)

Any help with this one would be greatly appreciated.

Best always

Hi Jose,

Sorry I've no idea - I can see that the scrolling-enable class (and maybe some other classes) aren't being added to the page <body> tag but I have no idea why that might be. I would start debugging by disabling the setting that is merging the CSS files so that you can see more clearly exactly what is happening.

Thanks Bob, I'm going to post on the RocketTheme forum and see what they say.

Hi Bob (and everyone else). I wanted to post the (unexpected) solution to this problem. During development I noticed that I had two modules on non-existent positions. I had switched RT templates mid-development and these two modules module positions didn't exist in the new template. Strangely enough, they were still displaying.

I decided to switch them to the corresponding position on the new template and like magic, the transparency issue went away and the page with the chronoform started displaying correctly.

Hope this helps anyone who might experience this same issue in the future.

Cheers!

Hi baxterdown,

Thank you - I would never have guessed that as the cause.
