multi file upload broken after domain change

aimiyo 21 Apr, 2014
i had setup a form with multi file upload that was working on a dev site. the site has now changed domains to the live site (same server) but the multi upload isnt sending the zip now. i noticed that the site was having trouble setting the enable ftp layer, could this be a possible reason behind the zip not sending? does the form rely on joomla ftp settings by any chance? i changed the upload folder in the form settings and created a new folder and verified the folder is 755. still having a hard time getting it to work. any help?

Hi aimiyo,

ChronoForms itself doesn't use the FTP settings directly but it may call some of the Joomla! File and Folder methods that try to use them. Does the form work if you disable the site FTP settings? If it does then the problem may be that the FTP user doesn't have the necessary folder permissions.

the user for the ftp layer is the main cpanel user which was not changed along with the domain. i turned ftp layer off and the attachment still doesnt come through with the email. any thoughts?
