Hello,
So I have two sites, my production (live site) and my testing environment site (cannot be accessed outside my network).
In the testing environment the captcha image will render/show when you access the online form. However on my production (live site) the captcha image does not show. Both forms are setup the same way. So I am thinking that perhaps its a file permission issue? Perhaps my production (live site) has a file/folder permission not set correctly?
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks,
Morgan

Hello mwbaggs,
I'm not a Chrono professional, but after checking your new post, I think that the following links may help:
The Captcha image doesn't show
The Captcha image is too small
P.S: I'm just an automated service😉

Those links above did not help me😟 I don't have a "chrono_verification.php" file.
Hi Morgan,
Do you have SEF enabled on the live website ? if yes then please try to make a test with it disabled, does the captcha work in that case ? if yes then you may need to exclude Chronoforms from your SEF extension.
Another option would be to use the security question or reCaptcha!

Max

Hello Max,
Thanks for the reply. SEF is enabled on both the testing and live site. Both the testing and the live site are both setup the same way, to ensure that when I test in the test environment and move to the live environment there will be little issue. But obviously there is a difference between the two systems in this case.
Disabling SEF for the live site is not an option, the site is a college site and averages about 40,000+ a month.
I do have reCaptcha in use on the majority of the site, but the captcha is a simpler version that our disabled users are better able to use.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Morgan

Hi Morgan,
If you have a 3rd party SEF extension (not Joomla core one) then please try to configure it to skip Chronoforms, that may be a solution.
You may also use the security question, it should add almost the same level of security and will be even easier.
