Overview

The issue is caused by installing a version of ChronoForms that is incompatible with your Joomla version.
Ensure you install the correct ChronoForms version for your specific Joomla release. For updates, install the new version over the existing one without uninstalling it first.

Hi,
I have installed Chronoforms_V4.0.4_J3.0.zip component on our website and I got following message after installation "install Applied '0' Database updates successfully. Installing component was successful".
Now when I am clicking on Components-Chronoform or any of chronoform sub options like forms manager etc, I am getting a white screen.
My system details are PHP Built On Linux pemlinweb146.blacknight.com 2.6.32-042stab084.17 #1
Database Version 5.0.83-community
Database Collation utf8_general_ci
PHP Version 5.3.3
Web Server Apache/2.2.11 (Unix)
WebServer to PHP Interface cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version Joomla! 2.5.18 Stable [ Ember ]
Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 11.4.0 Stable
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.101 Safari/537.36

Can you help , how to resolve this white screen?

Hi Pgupta,

It looks as though you have downloaded the Joomla! 3 version of ChronoForms v4 instead of the Joomla! 2.5 version.

Hi...
i am using joomla 3.1.5 version of chronoforms v4 ( Component 4.0 RC3.5.2.2 ), i will update chronoforms with j3.1.5 supported version - it affect old version of chrnoforms / field of form data

Hi,

The update should not affect existing forms, bu do NOT uninstall, just download the new version and install it OVER yours.

I'm using joomla 3.1.5 version, which chronoforms version is best suitable for updating ( now using chronoforms Component 4.0 RC3.5.2.2 3.Dec.2012 )

Error : Your ChronoForms install at http://www.cosh.in/contact.html is NOT Validated, No limited features but for a small fee you get link free forms and help us continue the development and support

This is not an error, just a validation notice, its harmless and should not affect the features!

If you already have a key then you can validate again!
