In ChronoForums Admin Home, Categories Manager, it will not save the new category.

Please go to the "Settings" area and configure the "Editors" section!

Can you say exactly which "Editors Section" please?
By the way none of the "Apply" "Save" or "Cancel" buttons are working when I try to create a category.
The first time I downloaded the software, I created a Category & then a Topic. When I went to subscribe from the frontend, the topic showed in the dropdown and I would select it and hit the submit button but a message kept coming up to select a topic.
So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it is not letting me create the category.
I think your forum is really good. That is why I am persevering. Thanks for the support.

Please go to the "Settings" area then configure the "Editors" section, then try again!

Subscribing to topics doesn't need any "dropdowns", could you please try this part again or clarify it ?

Sorry. You're right.
To clarify:

The first time I downloaded the software, I created a Category & then a Forum & then a menu item (Board Home Page).
I then clicked on this menu item, clicked on the New Topic button, added a subject, selected the forum from the dropdown and hit the submit button but a message kept coming up saying to select a forum.
So I uninstalled and reinstalled chronoforums.
Now it is not letting me create the category in the backend. The "Apply" "Save" & "Cancel" buttons don't do anything.

Ok, you have the forums in discussions mode then, that topic save bug has been fixed already!

But regarding the problem with creating categories/forums in admin area, it can be fixed now by setting up the editors under the settings, but this issue should be fixed in the new version too hopefully.

Under Permissions tab, everything is set to "Allowed"
Under Categories Manager, everything is set to "Allowed" but it is not saving my first new category.
I can't see anywhere under Board Settings that I can set up editors. What am I missing?
Thanks

Answer
There is an "Editors" tab under the settings area, you don't have it ?

OK thanks. Solved.
The text editor was set for an editor I didn't have installed.
