Question about authenticator

Cronie 15 Mar, 2014
Hello,

I am trying to set up a form that will only be visible to those who are registered users on the site. So far, the only way it works is if I give public users permission to use it. When I set permission to allowed for all groups except public, it fails and sends me to the "on failure" option. I am a super user. i am attaching some screenshots that may show better what I mean.

My goal is to have this function work for any and all users, just not public. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your time

Answer
Hi Cronie,

Don't set any group to denied, because this denies ALL children as well, so please set public to "not set" and others to allowed, that should do what you need!

Thank you, that seems to work. But I don't really like the way joomla sets that up. I don't think it should matter if one groups is set to denied ... I I specifically set one group to allow, it should allow it. That is confusing.

Thank you for answering though
