Hi Ron,
I've seen this message occasionally - usually when I first log in but it seems to clear for me on page refresh.
Just checking - you can edit the form from the admin and all the info appears to be complete?
Do you have any SEO on that might be interfering?
Bob
Thanks. Unfortunately that's not the case. Refresh doesn't work. The only change we've made to the site in the past 30 days is the Joomla upgrade to 1.0.15. We're membership based and don't do much in the way of SEO. It's not that critical for engines to find us, with the exception of a couple of keywords. We're researching the problem from the Joomla end as well.
Ron
Update... Upgrading to 2.3.9 fixed the problem.
I am also having this same problem.
I'm using Joomla 1.5
I get that error message for any form, frontend and backend.
I have tried using version 2.5 J1.5 RC2 and 2.5 J1.5 RC3.1
What are the know causes for this error, and what are the solutions? I'm driving myself crazy trying to get this resolved. I use Chronoforms on my personal site, and I love it, and I want to be able to use it for my company's site which I am currently developing.
Please help! 🙂
Hi whomhead,
I'm curious because -as far as I can see - the code to create that message isn't anywhere in the backend code (though I may have missed it).
In the front end it will occur if ChronoForms finds there is no entry for the form in the database. Can you take a dump of the jos_chrono_contact table in your Joomla database and send it to me?
Bob
Thanks for the quick reply!
When I say I get the error on the backend, I mean I get it when I click a form link on the Forms Management page. So, technically, I guess that would still be frontend. 🙂
Attached is the table dump.

Hi whomhead,
The good news (and the bad news) is that these look fine to me. I added the records into my database table and both forms appear to work perfectly (bar a few odd PHP notices as I have error reporting set to max).
I'm not sure where to go from here. . .
I've attached a backup of your form please will you try to restore it and see if you get the same behavoiour.

Thanks.
Unfortunately I get the same error with the form you sent back.
I will email you a guest login for my site (which is still in development) so you can see the error firsthand.
From you're signature, I'm assuming the e-mail to use is info "@" greyhead.net.
Thanks
Hi whomhead,
Thanks for the email - I took a look this morning and I'm afraid that I've got no idea what is happening. Everything looks OK to me excpet that the forms aren't visible. I'll email you with a suggesed next step.
Bob
thanks again for all your help.
I emailed you the requested information yesterday.
Hopefully this can be resolved. I'll be devastated if I won't be able to use Chronoforms on my site. 🙂
Hi whomnead,
Sorry, it's been a bad day today - nothing to do with ChronoForms - other stuff getting in the way.
Bob
creat an article add the chrono tags - save the article
then create a menu using the article layout and select the article you just created.
I was having this issue when i used chrono as the layout, i did everything possible and it still didnt work....then i changed from chrono to article and it works perfect
