Textbox verification accepts no umlauts

in a Textbox when i set the verification to Alpha or Alphanumeric umlauts as äöü are not accepted

Hi sk8connection,

I'm afraid so, you need custom validation to check for characters other than [a-z][A-Z][0-9]. I'm afraid that I don't yes know how to do this in CFv5 though I think Max has posted about it in the forums here.
