my form disappear when I connect to ChronoConnectivity

nilubon03 05 Mar, 2014
Hello,

I just installed ChronoConnectivity and try to learn how it works. I created a test form in Chronoforms, then I created a connection and point to that test form. Everything worked fine, I can edit record from the front end. However, when I look in Forms Manager in Chronoforms, my test from disappear. How can I have my test form back to Forms Manager?

Thank you,

I have folder j3.2 in my server on both ChronoForms and ChronoConnectivity.

I still need an explanation why my test form disappear from Forms Manager in Chronoforms after I connected to ChronoConnectivity. It would be great if someone can explain to me.

Thank you,
Nilubon

HI Nilubon,

At the top of the Forms Manager is a drop-down box set to Default, please open that and select ChronoConnectivity (or any other option that is showing).

Thank you, GreyHead. I saw it now.

I ran into another question. My first try to connect CronoConnectivity and ChronoForms was success. When I repeat the steps for my real form, the Front form dropdown list on Frontend Editing Tab did not show my real form on that. It shows only my test form. Did I miss anything?

Thank you,
Nilubon

Answer
I found the answer for myself, so I want to share this to other ChronoConnectivity beginners like me. The reason I cannot see my form loaded on Front form dropdown because it did not get connected. For some reason my form in ChronoForms did not set Form App to "ChronoConnectivity" automatically like my first try. I believe there are two places to set the connection, one is in ChronoForm on Form Name link > Form Applications Tab > Form App, and second is in ChronoConnectivity > Forms App on General Tab.
