I have been searching for a good form that works and is responsive and is compatible with Joomla 3.x for quite a while. There just isn't much out there yet. The module I had quit working for some reason so I found and installed Chronoforms 5. Everything seems to be working great except that I would like the form to be responsive since that is the way the web is going. My site is already responsive so the form just looks bad right now if you shrink your browser or load it on your phone.
I am familiar with responsive design but there are quite a few places for customization in Chronoforms so I just wanted to ask what the best way to make my form responsive would be. I have tried adding a percentage in the "Size" field in the field editor and have also tried creating a class for one field as a test and then put the CSS in the custom CSS box. The resized field always stays the size I made it in the back end. Any help would be greatly appreciated!😀

Hi,
What are the main problems you have with the form when the page is resized ? the form should be responsive enough, you may need few small tweaks in specific situations though.

Max

Hello,
By default, the form is not responsive at all. No matter what size my browser is (whether on desktop or phone) none of the fields get any narrower or wider. I'm not trying to say you are wrong. This is just what I have observed.
As far as what I want goes. I would just like the right edges of all the fields to line up and they all need to shrink in width based on how wide the browser is. Nothing too fancy.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
What's the browser you are using for testing ?
Please send me a link to the form, either here or using the contact us page or the PM system.

I've tested across Chrome, Firefox, and IE.

I guess my number one concern is that when you view it as if it were on a phone (or you are actually looking at it on your phone) the message field and captcha hang out over the main part of the template.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Your form responses well to the screen resizing on Chrome here, but you can try to add this to the "Class" field of the "Message" box:

F, it should force the field to take the whole width of the page.
