Catch Field value with PHP

BNDragon 24 Feb, 2014
Hello there πŸ™‚

I've been looking for a tutorial to integrate ChronoForms with K2, but without success. I'm trying to integrate by myself, but I encountered a problem, to create the Alias Item, I need the value of the Title as I can get this value into a php variable?
If you are asking: "Why PHP?",is because after getting the value of the title I intend to format it to match the original formation of K2.

If by chance there is already a tutorial thank you to forward me for it, failing that, if I achieve the integration, then I post a tutorial!πŸ˜‰

Hi BN,

As I've said before I don't' know anything about K2 :-(

What Title are you trying to get? Does this post from this morning help?

Hello Bob,

It may help if the amount at issue is the amount that is still on the form, or the value is already the title of the article already published, but as I understand, is already published article. :/

I will try to set a better example, because it has to do with K2 directly.

Imagine an A (textbox) field where the name of a user is writing. The name entered, for example, is Bruno Filipe Neves! Now a B (hidden box) field, I want that the field value of B is equal to the field value of A!

So, if user put "hello" in A, then B value became "hello"!

Can i do this?

Ok, so far so good.πŸ˜€

Just this question left! Still can not help me?

By the way, when finished, I put the tutorial ChronoForms v4 Forum (I think that someone will come here first to search about this) or ChronoForms How To Forum?

Hello,

After many hours of research, testing and requests for help, I managed to find a simple solution. Added directly to the form code on the button to submit an onclick event. However, has a counterpart, whenever I go to save the form I have to go put the event in the code.

As soon as possible I'll create a small tutorial for those who have the same problem!

Hi BN,

I'm still not clear what you are trying to do here :-(

Why do you need to copy the value of one input to another input? I don't think that does anything useful??

Answer
Hi Bob, the alias of an article is used for the link, imagine an article whos Title is "Love PHP", the alias will be "love-php" and the link for it will be something like: "index.php/component/k2/item/[item id]-love-php"

I think my reasoning is correct!

In any case, I let here the link for the tutorial that i did about integrate Chronoforms with k2.
