How to show new dropdowns based on a first dropdown selection

Hi !

I've been looking for solution for my problem with this topics:

- http://www.chronoengine.com/forums.html?cont=posts&f=2&t=87667
- http://www.chronoengine.com/faqs/58-cfv4/cfv4-elements-and-html/2645-how-can-i

But it doesn't work and even, when I tried to copy/paste the code, it doesn't work at all and my form doesn't show.
The JS doesn't seem to work, the only thing I can do it's to hide input when I add "type="hidden"".

Here's what I wanted to do:
Have a form with a dropdown. When you select the first option of the dropdown, it does nothing. When you select the second and third option, a new dropdown appears. When you select the last option, another new dropdown show up.

Thanks for your help...

Thanks for your quick response !

But I'm using Chornoform 5 and can't find the

Power Fields group

(to use the Dynamic Dropdown action).

I've also try to find my answer with this post : http://www.chronoengine.com/faqs/58-cfv4/cfv4-elements-and-html/3927-how-can-i-add-a-simple-double-drop-down-without-ajax-.html
But still don't know where the

"Dynamic Drop Down"-Action in the tab "Events"

is.

Is it on the Code or Steup page ? In the options of my elements on Designer mode ?
Thanks again for your help !

Hi analxlogik,

Ah, sorry, I imagine that Max had it built in to CFv5 but I don't know how to make it work :-(
