Datepicker not working in V5.0 RC4.1

HI atoddvr6,

You have a bunch of JavaScript errors on the page. The form without the template is working OK.

Please try turning off the ScriptMerge plug-in, I think that is probably causing the problem by changing the load order of the scripts in the page.

I have fixed some of the JS errors and have also disabled Scriptmerge and it is working now but I can only chose dates that are on the first line for some reason. It is the same way if I go to the link you provided.

Hi atoddvr6,

It's working OK when I check in Chrome, which browser are you testing with?

Chrome. I also tested it in Firefox and it did the same thing. If I click in the field, the calendar shows up but I can only choose February 1st (for example). No matter which month I go to, I can only choose dates that are in the top row. Both browsers are up to date. I also just tested in in IE 11 and it does the same thing.

Hi atoddvr6,

No problems here in Chrome or in IE11 with or without the template, You might try clearing your browser cache in case there is some old JS around.

I cleared the cache but that didn't change anything. Very strange. I also had my father check it out on his Mac with Safari and it did the same thing. If nothing else, I can just replace it with a regular text box until an update comes out.

I have the same issue. Max is aware of it but I haven't heard anything in about a week. I created a test form with only a datepicker to make sure I didn't have something else screwing it up. Same result (also without the template... same result). I've confirmed this in multiple environments as well.

Hi cgoodwin,

Again, using Chrome that datepicker is working perfectly for me :-( Makes it hard to diagnose.

I know that Max has been travelling for the last week or so and his on-line time has been limited. I'm sure he'll take a look as soon as he can.

So odd! I sent him my system information. Hopefully that will help.

I checked your link out and my datepicker is doing the same thing as yours. You can see mine here:

I also tried this in the latest IE, Chrome and Firefox. Same results everytime.

If needed I am using Joomla! 3.2.2, RocketTheme Oculus Template/Gantry Framework, Chronoforms v5.

Please let us know if a fix is found for this.

Thanks

Just wanted to update that I did some testing and so far I have tried the datepicker on Joomla 3.1.5, 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 with the same results/bug.

This is my first time using Chronoforms and so far I really like it but this bug is kinda discouraging.

As a temporary solution, it does work to use a text box instead. Just open the field settings and scroll down to "Mask" and choose one of the date formats that are available.

Hi atoddvr6,

I gave what you said a try and I think it will work out good until the datepicker is fixed.

Thanks
