Hello,
We have a big problem with our chronoform solution. We also use other extension e.g. Icalendar. We saved our admin folder with a htaccess file and htpassword file. Everything works fine with it, except Chronoforms. On the frontsite, our linked Chronoforms also wants the Username and Password. This ist very frustrating, because we also tried to make an exception to components/com_chronoforms, but it wont work. Is there a solution, to fix this problem. I read in the forum, but found no solution for this problem.
Thank You cheers

Hi Nadine,
I think I have already answered this. ChronoForms has some files that are used both in the front-end and in the admin. Many of them are saved in the administrator folder. You need to make sure that these are accessible to the front-end. I think I suggested that you remove the com_chronoforms folder from the .htaccess protection. I have no idea why that wouldn't work; there are only a couple of language files outside that folder as far as I recall.
I don’t have any other suggestions; I have seen other sites who appear to be using .htaccess protection with ChronoForms but don't know what, if anything they needed to do. I don't remember the question being posted in the forums before.
