Emails have stopped coming through all of a sudden

Hello,

My Chronoforms were working just fine until now.

I've tested the forms and they seem to be submitting, but we do not receive the emails to which they should be sent. I haven't changed anything in Chronoforms since the last time they were working, but its seems to have stopped functioning. I've tried changing the email to which they are sent

My email action is enabled.
My Ip address isn't blacklisted.
My To and From emails are different.
The debugger says email was sent successfully.

Please help I'm not sure what the problem is, but it seems to have affected all my forms on the website I have up.

Hi dianascarrunz,

Evidently something has changed. Have you checked with your web-host? Typically this happens when they make some change to improve security but fail to tell anyone about it.

If you haven't already done so then you should add DB Save actions to your forms to make sure that you have a log of any form submissions.

Bob,

I made a DB Saves for all my forms. Seems like they are going through and Chonoforms is able to save the information but they still aren't getting emailed where they should go.

When contacting my webhost, what exactly should I be asking? I'm afraid they are just going to tell me they aren't responsible and I should contact you instead.

Hi Diana,

They might well do so :-( and that would be another step toward changing web hosts.

The question is simple enough I think. Assuming that you haven't upgraded Joomla! or ChronoForms recently something else has changed on your site. So, have they made any changes that might affect emails being sent from your site.

I was able to fix it by changing my Mail settings for Mailer in Global Configuration/Server to SMTP. This is definitely something I haven't touched before, but now its working and that's all that counts!
