Hi S4bre,
#1- no, because this is not an article, the home page will list only articles, you will need something custom to do that, or maybe a featured posts module, which doesn't exist yet.
#2- no sorry, does JCK support bbcode ? we use tinymce because its simple and supports bbcode.
