How to get the Datepicker to work?

Hello,

I already found the area where to change the date format of the picker to m-d-Y but when I do so, the calendar on my form will not work, when you click on the calendar field(ex. Birthday) it'll act as text input and calendar will not show.

Joomla mootools library are loaded in the template..

Please help.
