bepos 05 Feb, 2014
Hi,

is there a maximum on adding fields within a slider ?

here is the current structure of the form

- field type input
-container : sliders area
-- container : slider
--- 5 fields
-- container : slider
--- cannot add any field
-- container : slider
--- cannot add any filed
- 3 x field type input

moving one of the field-type-input to a container is not possible.

any help is welcome.

kind regards,

Mark

Is it problem dropping fields into Container or does it not show up at all?

I have managed to use 4 sliders with 4-5 fields in each (CFv4).

It is dropping fields in the container. The fields who are added do show up.

I noticed problem in IE11 and Chrome but it works pretty well in FireFox.

HI Mark,

There is no maximum number of inputs in a container (I have added twenty of more in some forms). There is an art to getting them to drop in the right place. I have posted an image showing how I do it in another thread recently. If you search jelu's posts you should find it.

I am now using FireFox for form design and it works much better with dropping fields in containers.

Using Containers is fantastic and really making me have more control over design. Even if I only use them in Virtual Mode 😀
