Hi, I was always a big fan of chronoforms as it is such a professional form builder.
I just installed the latest version into a joomla 3 page, and set up a form. What surprised me is that there seems to be no chance whatsoever to disable the frontend CSS. There's only a choice between two themes, which both don't suit my needs.
The CSS files load in the content, as well, which gives me no chance to access and unload them, without changing the core of chronoforms.
Is there a solution for this, or not? If not, that is a huge step back!
Thanks and best regards,
Terry

Hi Terry,
Unfortunately no, there is no way to do this now, but I have added it to the todo list, a core hack to disable this will not be easy too.

Max

Hi,
thank you for the reply. I have solved it for now by using the gecore UI, and have then emptied the content of the gecore-ui.css file here: libraries/cegcore/assets/gcore-ui/css/gcore-ui.css. Like this I was able to perfectly add my form / input styles, I just need to do this on every upgrade which is of course not a solution but a "hack".
What I would find wonderful is to completely disable this via parameters for users who write their own CSS.
This would also make the page load less CSS files, which is crucial for mobile / responsive sites.
Great if you take it into the to do list - we are still big fans of chronoforms and have used and abused them for just about anything... 😉

A very little additional note to that: the same would of course be great with some of the JS files, but I haven't looked into that very deeply - just because some users prefer JQuery and others mootools... it can be hazardous to double load several libraries if not needed...
Great idea, added to the list!🙂
