no display chronoform

Hi, I'm definitely missing something simple here.
I have made a new form with a few fields in the forms manager and published it. Then I created a new menu item and selected Chronoforms Display Form. Under options I wrote the form name and published it. When I view the page only the link Powered By Chronoforms....is displayed. There is no content, no form.

Then I downloaded the module, tried it with that and tried it with the plugin by inserting a link in the article. Still no display of the form I created. Somehow I got it all wrong, I need some help I guess.

Anyone?

ps I've watched some tutorials. I'm using the latest joomla 3 version and chronoform v4 and I'm not a newbie to Joomla:-)

Hi arjanr,

Have you added a Show HTML action into the On Load event of your form?

Hi Bob, thx for answering. Unfortunately there has been a problem after installing chronoforms. I cannot login into the backend. I get a blank page with this error line:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getInt() on a non-object in /customers/f/3/8/nannekingma.nl/httpd.www/administrator/components/com_postinstall/models/messages.php on line 37

I'm using protostar and I installed no other components or plugins beside chronoform. Do you know about this problem?

Sincerely,
Arjan

Hi again, I installed a backup so I can start all over. I suspect there was an issue with the plugin. Don't know for sure though.

Once again hi, I managed to publish form now after your directions. I also updated the joomla version to 3.2 which was probably the cause to the problems before. I was still on 3.1.5.

I do miss some easy to read tutorials on chronoform but i'll start playing around and see how far I get. Thnx so far!

Hi Arjan,

Please check the FAQs here, they have pretty good coverage of CFv4.
