I have a checkbox group displayed horizontally going over three lines. How can I ensure that the input-box stays with the label (see the attached jpg picture).

I use ChronoForms V4 and Joomla 3.0.

Hi michelgaillard,
You have J3, so for best results, you may simply install v5 beside v4 on the same website and use it for this form only, they should work fine together.
Or you may try to add some spaces to the end of the previous checkbox label.

Max

Ok, I will look with V5. But I tought V5 does not have all functionality of V4...
With the spaces at the end, I tried but doesnt help, they are cut by the wizard. The other problem is with responsive design on the mobile, all checkboxes with labels come one upon the other, which is fine. Only the last 2 have a too long text: instead of keeping the checkbox near to the label and spread the label on two lines, it leaves the box on one line and puts the label on the second line... which is not really nice...

Correct, v5 may not have all v4 features yet, but it also has new stuff, and you may not be using all the v4 stuff anyway, plus it should solve your problem here, the checkbox and label are inside a div, and so its not possible to break them like in v4.
The other option is to set the checkboxes in v4 to vertical layout, the setting is available in the checkbox group configuration.

Max

Yes in the meanwhile I did set them up vertically. But this does not solce the responsive design issue.
I will check V5. Thanks.
I will check V5. Thanks.
Hi michelgaillard,
It may not help you but I usually set checkbox groups to Vertical in CFv4 - that seems to get round most of the layout problems.
