Datetimepicker does not pop up

eumelchen98 14 Jan, 2014
Hi there I got a little problem with my chronoforms v5 RC3 form. I tried to get a datetime field running but in frontend there is no calendar pop up when clicking in the datetime field...
I simply dragged the datepicker box into my form an saved it.
Do i have to change any settings or load some special scripts to get it working?

All i load is the HTML render in the onload section... nothing else

I miss the Datepicker settings I know from v4 where I can choose the style and the jss an stuff like that. Is there nothing similar in v5?

The field where the datepicker should be is in the 2nd panel "ab wann benötigen sie ihren lagerraum".

I also got problems with my captcha. I can safe the field but there is no captcha image shown... Why that?

The

What did I do wrong???

Hi eumelchen98,

I don't see a datepicker or a second tab?

Yeah sry for that but it seems I crushed the form yesterday and I could not restore my backup. I get the following error: "Error restroing forms."
I'm now designing it new.

I also recognized some more bugs in my v5:
I had problems with the validation of some fields. Even though I set validation to "yes" in the setting the form didn't recognize that and left that field out...

Here is the link to the new one... It's just the basic form...

The setting are:
[*]Setup Mode: Advanced
[*]Form Theme: Bootstrap3

Javascript is set as follows:
OnLoad:
[*]Load Captcha
[*]HTML(Render form)

OnSubmit:
[*]Check Captcha

Hello,

You may contact me through the "Contact us" page for an early patch file, I have fixed few issues with the picker few days ago and they will be available in the next release!

You've got Mail 😀

What's with the validation problems I described?

Hey admin,

thx for the patch the picker is working fine now... But where can I change the style of the picker? In earlier version of chronoforms I can choose a style in the settings...

And I still got the problem, that the validation of dropdown fields doesn't work...

Hey admin, is it possible to change the datepicker code in that way so that the datepickerbox pops up when you click in the field and it hides when you click anywhere else on the screen? Right now you have to choose a date before the popup hides again...

Hi Jan,

Regarding dropdowns validation, you must have an "empty" option for this to work, if you don't then the validation considers that an option has been already selected!

is it possible to change the datepicker code in that way so that the datepickerbox pops up when you click in the field and it hides when you click anywhere else on the screen?

Added to the todo list!

I will also try to add a picker styler feature, you can do it by overriding the picker's css class, it should not be too hard.
