Multipage missing in ChronoForms 5?

musicwhisper 04 Jan, 2014
Im using Chronoforms V5.
In the 'designer' the 'container'-element supports a 'page'- function.
I want to use three pages in total and use the submit button to move to the next page.
Is this possible in CF5 and how do I do this? Is there somewere an example?

In CF4 I see a 'Multipage' utility being used in the 'setup' part to anbale multiple pages on a form. This utility seem to be missing in CF5. Is it missing or does a different setup apply?

Hello,

Yes, this is still not added to v5, hopefully this weekend!

I have seen the news that the functionality was added in the latest update. Has anybody figured out how to setup a multipage form? Or is it the same as in a previous CF Version?

Edit:

Okay I think I found it.
For the curious:

In the events:

On Load -> html (render form): set the event for the second page (e.g. Page Two)
On Page Two -> html (render form): set the event for the third page (e.g. Page Three)

Hi

It seems that V5 has moved away from the mother-child design flow used in V4.

In V4, we could have several disparate forms (at design time) that is linked together by aggregating them in the mother form. Can that design flow still be applied in v5?

The demo_multipage example in V5 seems to suggest that a mother form is created first and then all the different pages/subforms are instantiated within that mother form through the use of containers (each container is now designated as a "page"). The mother form now has the knowledge of where and what each page is by the order of the container/page...

Is that the intended flow? Is it still advisable to use the v4-style mother/child flow? If yes, any examples or sample setting is much appreciated!

Thank you for your advice!
