Bootstrap (jQuery) validation instead of Mootools

Can I suggest to use jQuery (included in Bootstrap) instead of Mootools for form validation and functions? So there will not incompatibility issue.
how can I disable Mootools and standardize the form elements in order to make them compatible with jquery?

Probably yes, but I haven't tried. If you are using Joomla! 3.2 or have jQuery correctly in noConflict mode then there are no compatibility issues.
