Dropdown with multiple text boxes.

Hi there,

I'm using the very nice form creator from ChronoEngine, but i have a question.

In my form i have a dropdown box with 5 categories. And each catagory has some specific text fields.

so i have some standard text fields that apply to all, but some text boxes that only have to appear with different choosings from the dropdown.

So what i am looking for is how do create that. When i pick f.e A in the dropdown some text boxes appear. And when i choose B in the dropdown that specific text boxes appear for that?

Hi there, I am looking for the same answer but I agree, I need some help. So I am using Joomla 2.5, if I search for Mootools you believe this will give me the results I need? I have tried this without much success. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your assistance!

Please see this FAQ which has the code to start out with. It's only written to show one input when a particular option is selected but you can use the same idea for as many inputs as you like and for different option selections.

This is not exactly what i meant and doesn't work either?

If i select A in dropdown box, i want text box 1,2,3 to show up
If i select B in dropdown box, i want text box 2,3,5 etc to show up
If i select C in dropdown box, i want text box 1,4,6 to show up
