Generate Auto Template prints old data

Hello,

i alredy had a form, which worked well.
Then i deleted some fields and added new fields.
I uses the "Genarate Auto Template" function, but it genereated the template,
based on the old fields, which do no longer exist.

I already saved the form, and deleted the old output of the email template,
but the function still genereated the template, based on the old fields.

my Versions:
ChronoForms 4.0.1
Joomla! 2.5.14

Hi casper99,

There's no magic here. ChronoForms reads the form HTML extracts the inputs and their labels (if it can find them) and builds he template from them.

I think that it used the HTML you can see in the Form Code tab - which is updated from the Preview Box when you save the form.

If all else fails you can edit the template by hand.
