Cannot install ChronoForms v4 on Joomla 3.1.5

Dear Community,
I used ChronoForms with great results about 2 years ago on a Joomla 1.5 website. Now i am starting a new website (on Joomla 3.1.5, with Protostar template) and i expect i will need some forms later on. I was glad to see that ChronoForms is still around and went straight for it. However i am having problems to install it. i followed instructions and started with the package downloaded under the component folder, but i get the error in the image i try to attach here. I don't know if i am doing anything wrong or if i am trying to install something that is not compatible with my site/template. any input will be appreciated

Hi maqroll71,

Please make sure that you have downloaded the correct version of ChronoForms v4 for Joomla! 3.

It looks as though there may also be problems with write permissions on the site temporary folder /tmp/ or it may not exist.

Dear Bob, thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I checked and the package i was installing was the right one.
And thanks to your suggestion i assigned writing permission to the folders and it seems to have worked now. It still says that it could not create or copy a couple of files, but at the same time it said the extension was installed successfully. I will try it out in the next days and see if it all works.
