I have read (and tried) every article on this topic. There has been several suggections but no solutions (that I can find)
My issue is that when I try to add an element into a (large) form I seem to hit a limit.
When I add the element and then save it the form does not include the new element and I'm taken back to the Site - Control Panel page.
I have asked the host provider to have a look at this and they can see no errors on the server
that would suggest where the limit is.
I have placed a php.ini file (with the suggested changes) into a number of folders and still no solution (/home/, /home/administrator/, /home/administrator/components/, /home/administrator/components/com/chronoform/).
My server provider has suggested that the issue is with the ChronoForms, I'm not sure I believe them but don't where where to look any longer.
Any help or direction you can point me in would be helpful.

Hi Bob, Thanks, I have read and re-read the same FAQ and could not see the forest....
I found the php.ini in
Loaded Configuration File /home/mydir/public_html/administrator/php.ini
I then edited and added all the suggestions, and BINGO it worked...
Not sure which did it. but all is ok now,
