Internal Server Error with Form Wizard

Hi Greyhead!

I can install Chronoforms perfectly on our 3.0 sites.

But there is some problem when I use it on or 2.5 site. I get an Internal Server Error when I click on Forms Wizard. I understand there can be many reasons for this. But can you please give me some clues so I can solve this?

Hi Ola,

Please make sure that you are installing the Joomla! 2.5 version of ChronoForms.

If you are then please set site Error Reporting to Maximum temporarily in the Site Global Configuration and see if you get a more helpful error message.

I use this one: Chronoforms_V4_stable_J2.5.zip. OK?

I have turned error reporting to maximum but still get the same message. A white screen with Internal Server Error.

I am sorry, I can't provide any more info. Can it be something with JS?

Hi Ola,

Unlikely to be anything with JavaScript if you are seeing a blank page - that's more often a sign of a server or a PHP error.

Do you see anything useful if you check the server logs?

In general there is no problem in running ChronoForms on Joomla! 2.5 sites.

Hi!

A stupid question maybe... But I have set "debug" system in Joomla admin, then I try to open the form wizard. I this error. But where can I see the logs?

Hi Ola,

Please check your web host's documentation for the server logs.

I don't think that the Joomla! Debug will help here.

Our web hosting provider enabled this debuggar and suddenly it works. I haven't made any changes...

So, case closed so far ;-)
