When I enable pagination on my data list, instead of it showing as a horizontal list of page numbers (similar to the pagination for this forum), it's showing a vertically spaced list of page options (see below), and unfortunately it looks terrible.

How can I alter the appearance of the pagination options?

It looks as though your template doesn't have any CSS for the paginator. Best thing is to 'borrow' some from a template that does; there may be some examples here in the forum - but it's a while ago.
