how to publish forms in joomla 3.1 with chronoV4_RC3

silvered.dragon 19 Jul, 2013
Dear friends,
I cannot find a way to publish my forms. As you can see in picture attached, when I select a new menu voice as a chronoforms type, there is no selection for a single created form. Only way is to publish forms in an article using {chronoforms}form_test{/chronoforms} code, but this don't work with chronoconnectivity. Can you please suggest me a solution?
Thank you

Hi silvered.dragon,

Please upgrade to the latest ChronoForms release for Joomla! 3.

You should see an extra Menu Bar at the top of the page where you can select a form name on the Advanced Options tab.

Hi silvered.dragon,

Please check the Component version; ChronoForms v4 RC3 is not the latest version; ChronoForms v4 Stable is.

Hi silvered.dragon,

Sorry, I missed that and was just reading the topic subject you posted.

Then your screen should look like the one I posted. I suggest that you try clearing the browser cache or try a different browser and see if that fixes the problem.

already tried with other browsers and pc.. only a last question, maybe I'm doing something wrong? for adding a form I did the following steps:
1 - create form
2 - link the form to a table
3 - click on publish button
4 - menu manager --> select a menu --> new --> menu item type --> select chronoforms

is this the right place where I have to find the bar you are talking about?
thank you

Hi silvered.dragon,

It looks like the same place to me.

By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.

Hi silvered.dragon,

The Expose Template Framework on your site is causing JavaScript conflicts in the Admin area. I think that this is because it is loading a second and older version of jQuery alongside the version loaded by Joomla!

If you disable the Framework Library and Plug-in then the Menu tabs show correctly. You should probably disable this or get an updated version from ThemeXpert if it is needed.
