Confirmation page button submit language

HerKle 19 Jul, 2013
Good morning!

In the event "confirmation page" I have just the option to hide or show the buttons "submit" and "cancel" - and not as anywhere else, to define their text (label).

I could't find either any language ini files in en-GB where they might have been translatable.

The search for "confirmation page button submit language" in this forum didn't show any result.

So my question now is, where/what do I have to do to show all buttons in the desired language (i.e. German in this case)?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Herbert

Hi Herbert,

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? It sounds like ChronoForms v3 on Joomla! 1.5?

You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5.

Sorry Bob,

I forgot to mention CF4 and Joomla 2.5.

Hi Herbert,

Sorry, my mistake :-(

From the Help tab of the Confirmation Page action:

You may add your own buttons code and disable the buttons option, both your button names should equal "confirmation_page", your back button value should = "_back" and your confirm/submit button value should = "_confirm".

Tanks Bob,

but coding just for language issues should be obsolete since Joomla 2.5.
Maybe Max takes this up for the next release of CF to use the language file system. In my CFv4 I found only three tiny language ini files with the labels for "Form wizard" etc. Life could be much easier then (for me, not for Max ;-) ) …

Answer
Hi Herb,

Unfortunately 'should be' and 'is' are not the same :-(
