Fatal error: Call to undefined method JParameter::loadINI()

Hi, I am using Chronoforms V4 in Joomla 3.1.1.
The form works fine when I set a menu-link directly to chronoforms. When I display the form in a article with the chronoforms-plugin I get this error message after submitting the form:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JParameter::loadINI() in /home/......../libraries/joomla/html/parameter.php on line 76

If I remove the "Show Thanks Message" event, the error message is not displayed.
The form is submitted in either case.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

SOLVED
The problem was caused by a bug in the joomla-database (Unknown column 'title_alias' in 'jos_content'....) - not a chronoforms bug.
