Hi
I am new to ChronoForums and am using Joomla3.I have setup a number of categories and forum topics. I have left the settings a they were.

When I go to the front end, for both public and registered users, select the forum and the "new topic" button, I can enter text. At the moment its a simple line of straight characters. I then press submit. I then get the red box, with a cross and the words "save failed". There is no other explanation.

To try an overcome the issue I have set the permissions for the test topic as allowed for everyone, I have set the permissions for "make posts", see "post attachments", "download and see inline attachments" to allowed for everyone.

I have checked folder permissions in chronoforms home page and there are two entries with the status writeable.

What could be the problem, and how should I go about troubleshooting it?

The error here is about the empty topic title or body, not about permissions, I have added extra message to help identify the issue, it will be available in the new release, hopefully in a few days!

Hello admin, i have the same error:
Save failed.
Please select a forum
What can i do?

Just switch the "Board display/mode" to default under the "Settings" area, or wait for the new version this weekend!
