Hi
Searching all forums for clear direction on this with no luck so posting another newbie question - my apologies..
I have created a form with name: "informationrequest"
This form is published
I can see form using "front end view"
I created a main menu item called "Info Request" and set menu type to "Cronoforms Display Form"
This menu item is published
Under Basic Options I have entered "informationrequest" for Form Name
Under Basic Options "Event" I have tried both leaving this field blank and with "load"
Result is always the same:
"form name can NOT be empty!"
Am I doing something obviously wrong? Or is this a bug?
I prefer to use this menu method rather than the other methods so any help in figuring out my error will be appreciated... Wasted too many hours on such a basic thing!
Thanks for any help
Regards
Scott
PS
Using: 4.0 RC3.5.2

Hi Scott,
That all sounds correct.
By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
Bob

Hi Scott,
I've taken a look at your site and I'm afraid that I don't know what is causing the problem. Not something that I've experienced before. It's curious that you get a blank page with the error message and do not see the template at all. It suggests a PHP error - but setting Error Reporting to Maximum doesn't show anything.
You should upgrade ChronoForms to the latest version 4 Stable and if that doesn't fix the problem please contact Max using the Contact Us link above and post a link to this thread.

Thanks Bob
Just my luck... to have the problem to stump the experts! Will check to ensure I have the latest version and try again

I upgraded to 4.0 and still have problem, so I will contact Max. Thanks

Hello Bob
Max took a look and fixed problem by simply creating a new menu item. It might have been that I was working with older version and now with newer version 4.0 a new menu item worked while the old one didn't.
Thanks
