Is there a way to hook a limited version of the form wizard into a frontend component (or otherwise)? I'd like to give a select frontend user group the ability to design forms from a limited (pre-defined) set of elements?

You might be able to use the new ChronoContact, which is a simpler version of ChronoForms and give limited back-end access. Unfortunately Max hasn't added the User ACL options into any of the products yet but perhaps something could be hacked together.

Thanks for the reply, that is too bad. I installed Chronocontact, it does look simpler in the backend interface, but looking at the code briefly gives me the impression I am in for a lot of hacking. Chronoforms seems to have more of a MVC structure, I'm going to give it a quick try and see if I can a frontend view working.
