ChronoForms 4.0 25.April.2013
I'd like to have my mail sent with a dynamic reply to, which take the input "Email" value.
But even if I put {Email} in the Dynamic Reply to name, it always put the email of the administrator user in the email I receive from the site.
I'm using Joomla! 2.5.11, can you tell me what is wrong, is there a bug ?
I just found out about the brackets myself, but I also experience that I need a valid email address in the "To" field for the "Dynamic To" to work, thus sending two emails.. I saw that this was an issue in an older version, but have you a solition for configuring Email 2 using only the dynamic field like Email? I use this for sending customers automatic receipts..

Thanks for your quick replay Bob!
I downloaded and installed the Email action, but I can't see that it made a difference, nor can I see those tabs mentioned in your documentation. Must I activate it somewhere?
The bug is for sure there, if there's no valid address in the To field, an error appears stating that at least one address must be entered.. Have testet both with and without the brackets to be sure.. Dynamic email only works when field name is entered in the Dynamic To field..
Any suggestions?

Hi Jan,
What tabs can't you see?
You will need to use the Form Wizard, not the Easy Wizard to change the Email action.

Hi,
I changed to Form Wizard, but I can't see the that the Dynamic and Static tabs have been merged anywhere.
Opening the form in Form Wizard I see Preview, Events, Form settings and Legend. Under Events I find the three email actions as in Easy Wizard, and opening the one I need to adjust, I find both the static and the dynamic tabs..
I tried to reinstall V4 as well..

Bob,
That did the trick, it now works like I want to. However, it looks like the debugger suddenly is turned on. Is that automatic? Can't see where to turn it off.. As a result of this, all the debugging info shows on the screen before my message from the form. Suggestion?
Jan
Hi jkor,
When you switch from the Easy Wizard to the Form Wizard you find that you have a lot more actions than you are actually using, one of those is the Debugger action :-( You can safely delete it with the red 'x' icon in the action (and do the same with any others that aren't needed to keep your form tidy).
