Problem with thanks message

frogybella 04 Jun, 2013
Good evening,

I have a form inside an article with text and a google map (coming from phocamaps).
My problem is when we fill the form and send it, the thanks message is displayed in the part where the form was before, beside the text, the map...
What I want is a page with only thanks message.

I have tried differents things:
1. To use the Redirect User events. But I have seen that even if there is trouble with my email configuration the page I want is displayed. It means that the visitor thinks that everything is ok but I don't receive the data.
How can I do to select the redirection according to the result, a page if everything is ok, a page if there is trouble sending?

2. I put all the html code of my article inside the html code of my form (in chronoform). Everything was perfectly displayed except the map coming from the Phocamaps plugin.
Is there a way to activated a plugin coming from outside chronoform?

What would be the best solution?

Thank you for your help.

King regards

Hi Frogybella,

Apologies for the very late reply.

1. If you validate the data then you should clear any errors before diverting to the Thank You page (if there are errors then reload the form to resolve them).

2. ChronoForms has a Plug-ins action that will let you use some other plug-ins within a form. I don't know if it will work with the Phocamaps plug-in or not.
