I had to remove an app (unused) from the apps list, all other forms have disappeared.
They still run and work though, which means they still exist. There seems to be no way to restore or easily find and reinstate them into the manager for editing. There was no warning upon deleting the app regarding this. The other forms were not connected to the app in any obvious/intuitive way.
What do I do? this has set me back in work/time so I'm rather rushed.
Many thanks,
Simon.

Further to the above, I have tried to restore a backup file (which will have overwritten a few days work!) And still no forms....
Hi Simon,
Sorry, I've no idea, I've never tried to remove an app (don't even know where to start).
If you look at the #__chronoforms DB table what is in the 'app' column at the end?

Further to the above I have created an app, by creating a new form, and making an app name. This has led to the effect of reinstating the forms in the list. It is visually unclear that this would happen, but it did.
I'll get phpmyadmin on the case in a while and get back to you... I need to see if the multiple copies now in the manager are duplicated or refreshed edits and duplicates (I removed chronoforms entirely, reinstalled and reinstalled backups!)
will spk in a while...

the only entry in the column is "repairtest", which is the app-name given in a form I had named "repairformtest"!
The original app is still not there. Oddly (as I had reinstalled backups).
I'm still working my way through duplicates, but I suspect everything is there. I'll watch out for this in the future, as I was removing unused forms when the incident occurred...

Ok, have learned 2 things.
1. If apps are deleted, the forms manager is blanked. This is regardless as to whether the forms are deleted or not.
2. App settings are not re-entered into the pulldown box in the forms manager from backup.
Thanks.
