SOLVED: ReCaptcha outside of template

88keyman 01 May, 2013
I am receiving reports from my membership that they cannot use the ReCaptcha. This has been working fine until I upgraded to the latest version. You can see an example here:

http://www.ibea.org/forms-and-documents/awards-forms/award-nomination-form

The ReCaptcha is below the template in the lower left corner. I've not done anything with the template. The only change has been the update to V4 Stable of Chronoforms. We are running Joomla 2.5.11.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be helpful.

Thank you,
DC

Hi 88keyman,

It looks as though you have some clever code in your site that is gathering all the JavaScript up and moving it down to the page footer and taking the ReCaptcha with it.

So, is this "clever" code that you speak of coming from my template or ??? I'm in need of a starting point. It also appears the same way when I use the "Test Form" link. It puts it below the ChronoForms "copyright info".

Thanks.

Hi 88keyman,

I don't know. Possibly some kind of code optimiser plugin? It's still happening if you view the form without the template so it probably isn't a part of the main template.

Found the offending plugin. Thanks for the point in the right direction. It is a plugin from my template called JSN Framework. I will be filing a ticket with them.

Thank you!
