different permission settings

Hi,
I wondering if I'm able to set different permission setting for different categories?
ie. I'
d like one category where my registered users can only view the topics not create new ones or comment. is that possible?

Hi budginut1,

Unfortunately no, the category/forums permissions control their visibility in the forums home page only, but I will this to the todo list!
