Dear ChronoEngine,
I've installed V1_RC4_J2.5_J3.0 on Joomla 3.0. I have the permission set as "allowed" from public to owner the permissions for the category are also set to "Allowed" for everyone.
Why won't the system let me post? I'm getting the prompt that reads.

I've tried everything in my bag of tricks to make it work with no joy. Posting here for help is my last push for success.
The site is hosted at HostGator. The Joomla 3.0 install was manual.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello bookknife,
There is a permissions area which can be accessed from the forums admin home page, this is where you should configure the permissions of the board.
Regards,
Max

Yep, I made double sure that both the admin page and the category were set to "Allowed" See the screen grab.
I'm stumped.
It's got to be something stupid on my behalf. Any idea on what I have missed?

Hello,
You have the permissions set to allowed in the "see posts attachments" section, but you need to do that in the "make posts" section as well, please scroll down to see them.

Max
