Every time a post is made I get the error "Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.", also, Smilies do not appear correctly in the post. They leave a colon at the end of the message and the smilie appears at the top of the post under the information icon. Any ideas?

Could you please download and install the latest version (just published) over yours then clear your cache and let m know the results ? for the mail issue, please fill the from name and email under the "notifications" tab in the settings.

I install new version and cleared cache. Now no smiles will work but the email is working fine. This may be an unrelated issue or not but I also have an issue with the time listed under changing time. Any old smiles in posts still have the same problem and new smiles simply do not appear in the final post.
