analytics tracking

How do I add Google Analytics tracking to my forms? I can do it with a redirect in the default menu for the default contact form, but in chronocontact it specifically says adding a redirect url will disable all emails. Ideally I'd like to use my custom thanks page /index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=154?utm_campaign=contact&utm_medium=contact&utm_source=contactform with custom campaign tag at the end for GA.

Hi vistech,

Please see this FAQ which I think has what you are looking for.

I'd prefer to use a campaign vs conversion tracking for this site, is this possible?

Hi vistech,

I have no idea what the difference is between "campaign vs conversion tracking". I imagine it's possible to change the code to work with either method.

Allowing a custom thanks page at a specific url instead of using the one built into contact would be fine, that allows me to use the above url for tracking.

Hi vistech,

You can use the ReDirect User action to redirect the user to a specific URL.

I've looked all through the form creation page and don't see that option.

Hi vistech,

Sorry, I didn't notice that this is the ChronoContact forum. I don't know how you can do it using ChronoContact, it may not be possible.

It seems as if I have made a mistake using this product vs chronoforms, I thought this was going to be an easier and simpler version however its too limiting and missing basic features. How do I get a refund or my license transferred?

Hi vistech,

Please ask Max using the Contact Us link above. As I understand it ChronoContact is a simple very basic form component, Max can probably make it do more - I haven't worked with it at all.
