chronoforms in article

hodginsdl 26 Mar, 2013
I've installed the Chronoforms component and plugin - which has been activated. Set up my form (employee_suggestions2) and then placed the following code into a custom html module:

{chronoforms}employee_suggestions2{/chronoforms}

and nothing happens.

I've replaced the <p> tags with <div> tags but still nothing... all that shows is the plugin code.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Denise

Hi Denise,

By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.

Hi Denise,

You have the ChronoForms plugin code inside a Custom HTML module - I don't think that module supports Joomla! plugins.

Use the ChronoForms Module to show a form in a module location.

Ahhhhh... of course. Thanks for pointing out the obvious, works perfect now.

Cheers!

In case anyone else is reading this, the Custom HTML module (since Joomla 2.5) does support Joomla! plug-ins if you change "Prepare Content" to "Yes" in the Basic Options.

It's probably safer (as Bob points out) to use the ChronoForms module and add in any extra HTML etc via custom code in your ChronoForm.

Neil.
